The Dream: This client’s basement looked like many others when we first discussed this project. It was a dreary forgotten space used for storage. We discussed creating an inviting space for family and friends to get together for dinner and drinks and to play games.
The Challenge: This client also wanted to utilize the large garage door so he could drive his corvette inside for the winter and have a view of his prized possession all year long.
The Transformation: We created a warm inviting space to play pool and darts, have a cocktail and relax to watch movies near the fire. Durable finishes allow the dogs to utilize the space, as well as drive a car right inside. A bar was added in Phase 1 and got so much use, that in Phase 2 (a year later) a separate wine tasting bar was added and more seating created.
